Thinking about Allen St. School this a.m.—did my elementary there beginning Sept. 1933, Dorothy Foley and Grace Brehm were my Kgn. B and A teachers. Ms. McClary in 4th or 5th. on 2nd floor in the north east corner of the building–and did my student teaching there in 1970—have tried to recall all teachers that I had and came up with (in addition to the above) Ms. Gray, Ms. Boulder, Ms. Monks, Florence Clements, Ms. Wymer, Ms. Smith, Ms. Stenback, Ms. Chatfield, Dorothy Hensel and Gretchen Doelle (Doelle was also either principal or assistant). Left for Pattengill around the time of the NY World’s Fair (Trylon Tower and the Perisphere stand out in visual image). Do you have access to the other teachers in that building during that time span?
