Ranney Building Renovation Discovery

At the Historical Society of Greater Lansing Architectural Walking tour in downtown Lansing, Michigan on this past June 16th, one of the buildings on the tour was the Ranney Building at 208 S. Washington Square. Several people mentioned this article about when it was renovated a few years back, and what they discovered there. Two floors that were sealed off in the 1920’s and were forgotten about. Here is the 2005 two-page article from the Lansing State Journal newspaper. Click on and enlarge to read.
